Kathy Rausch, Vice President
Kathy first fell in love with community theater when she was 13 as a member of the cast of “Sound of Music”. She performed in many productions, musicals, dramas and comedies over the years in several community theater companies in Indiana. She was a board member and officer of Community Theater of Terre Haute, IN for twelve years before moving to CO. She appeared in CCCT’s first musical, “Something’s Afoot” in 1994 and since then has enjoyed roles in “Cinderella”, “Trial by Jury”, “Plaza Suite”, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, “Gianni Schichi” and “Steel Magnolias”. Backstage, she has served as a lighting tech, assistant director, and costume designer, for which she won a Best Costume Design Award at the Colorado Community Theatre Coalition Festival 2002 for CCCT’s entry, “Working”. Kathy has been on the Executive Council since 1997 and has served as president, treasurer and technical advisor. She is very proud that CCCT has been around for so many years. Her husband, Steve and daughter, Denise, are also theater folks and live in Lafayette.
