Front Range Playwrights' Showcase
The year's most popular event is back in 2008!
WHAT:
Coal Creek Community Theater of Louisville, CO will host their 2nd Annual Front Range Playwrights’ Showcase.The event will feature readings of 4 plays by Colorado and Front Range playwrights. Each piece will then be adjudicated by a panel of 3 distinguished judges. Talk-backs between the audience, casts, directors and playwrights will also occur. Please join us for this truly intriguing and entertaining night of theatre!

ADJUDICATORS:
Mark Collins:
Mark has been Theatre Critic for the Boulder Daily Camera since 2002. Mark holds a B.F.A in
theater from University of Colorado-Boulder and an M.F.A. in theater from the University of
North Carolina-Greensboro. Alphonse Keasley:
Alphonse is Director of Minority Arts & Sciences, University of Colorado,
and Board Member of the Boulder County Arts Alliance. He is a member of the Actors' Equity
Association, and a frequent performer in the Denver/Boulder area. having appeared in numerous
roles with the Denver Center Theatre Company and The Colorado Shakespeare Festival.
Merrill Lesley: Merrill is a Professor of Theatre, University of Colorado - Boulder. He holds his BFA in Theatre
Design from the University of Utah, his MA in Scene, Costume, & Lighting Design from the
University of Minnesota, and his PhD in Theatre Arts from the University of Utah.
